Mondial 2022 : incidents après Nigeria-Ghana, un médecin de la CAF mort ?

Le Nigeria éliminé lors des barrages face au Ghana ce mardi, les supporters ont envahi la pelouse stade national d’Abuja. Il y a ensuite eu des échauffourées et l’intervention des forces de l’ordre avec notamment des tirs de grenades lacrymogènes.

Des bousculades ont aussi eu lieu. Et selon Onze mondial, confirmé par la Fédération zambienne de football, un médecin de la CAF est mort après ces incidents. Joseph Kabungo était un médecin zambien préposé au contrôle antidopage lors de ce Nigeria-Ghana. La CAF elle n’a pas encore réagi. Toutefois, un journaliste présent sur place affirme que le médecin aurait été frappé et piétiné. Les secours ont essayé de le réanimer, en vain.

They beat him, he fell and they throded on him. He lost consciousness was rushed to an ambulance closer to the Ghana dressing for CPR. The entire Ghanaian contingent watched on as resuscitation attempts were made with oxygen mask. He was taken to hospital later and now this. Sad. https://t.co/nV2UfQ7U9D
