Summary<p>Le FC Augsburg s’impose avec autorité (3-1) face au Borussia Mönchengladbach ce week-end à la WWK Arena, une victoire convaincante qui relance pleinement les Bavarois en Bundesliga.</p> <p>La rencontre démarre fort avec une première alerte pour Gladbach dès la 14e minute, lorsque Giannoulis ouvre la marque sur une passe de Fellhauer. Augsburg poursuit son pressing et double la mise à la 24e minute grâce à Gregoritsch, avant que ce dernier ne voie un second but refusé pour hors-jeu par la VAR (28’). Les locaux enfoncent le clou juste avant la pause : Fellhauer, parfaitement servi par Komur, inscrit le deuxième but d'Augsburg à la 42e minute.</p> <p>Malgré quelques réactions de Gladbach après le repos, matérialisées notamment par l'entrée de Honorat (46’), puis une série de changements offensifs, les visiteurs peinent à trouver l’efficacité. La tension monte avec plusieurs cartons jaunes distribués de part et d’autre (Scally, Wolf, Sander, Jakic), mais ce sont bien les locaux qui concrétisent à nouveau. Gregoritsch s’offre un doublé à la 72e minute pour sceller la victoire, même si deux autres réalisations avaient été refusées par la VAR (Gregoritsch 28’, Fellhauer 69’).</p> <p>En toute fin de match, Reyna sauve l’honneur pour Gladbach avec une réalisation sur une passe de Reitz (90’), mais trop tard pour inverser la tendance. </p> <p>Avec seulement 38% de possession mais 10 tirs cadrés sur 15, Augsburg s’est montré pragmatique et réaliste, frustrant une équipe de Gladbach pourtant largement supérieure en possession de balle (62%) mais maladroite dans la finition. Ce succès relance Augsburg, tandis que Gladbach devra corriger son manque d’efficacité devant le but.</p>
