Antonio Conceiçao has published a list of 28 players to defend the colors of Cameroon at the AFCON 2021. The coach of the Indomitable Lions has drawn from a pre-list of 40 elements initially published.
There are no surprises for the hosts of the competition. The elements that have completed the qualifications for the World Cup 2022 are in the group of the Portuguese technician.
However, Antonio Conceiçao has added a little touch of novelty with Clinton Njie (Dinamo Moscow). The latter had been out of the squad for the past few months.
Cameroon is in group A with Burkina Faso, Ethiopia and Cape Verde. Its first match is against the Burkina Faso Stallions on 9 January (5:00 GMT).
