Football - Women - CECAFA: Burundi and Uganda in the semi-finals

Burundi and Uganda have qualified for the semi-finals of the 2022 CECAFA Women's Cup on Friday 3 June. The Ugandans gave a football lesson to Djibouti (5-0). For its last group match, Djibouti will play against Rwanda on Sunday at 11am GMT.

The Burundians won (2-1) against the Rwandans. Rwanda coach Sosthène Abimana regrets the lack of competition of his team. He called on the authorities to engage the girls in regional and African competitions so that they gain experience. Despite the elimination, the coach hopes that his girls have learned a lot from this competition.
