Finally Angers gets its first win of the season in the French elite. A first that bears the seal of Soufiane Boufal. After an early opening (7') of the beautiful and surprising Montpellier team, Angers was not long to equalize thanks to Hounu (9').
In the second half, the Angevins, more visible, will succeed in passing their opponents on the scoreboard thanks to Soufiane Boufal on penalty (69'). The Atlas Lion scored his third goal of the season in Ligue 1. Despite the three points, Angers remains 19th in the standings. MHSC is still 8th.
