The 2022 Ghana Women’s Premier League Super Cup semifinals encounter is been slated for Thursday, September 22, 2022 at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium as Ampem Darkoa Ladies plays Police Ladies FC in a fierce encounter whiles Faith Ladies FC faces Fabulous Ladies FC.
Ghana's representatives at the 2022 CAF Women Champions League qualifiers, Ampem Darkoa Ladies finished group B as winners with 5points after 3games.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies recorded a win and two draws in their three games in group B.
The Nanamma as affectionately call recorded the biggest victory of the ongoing competition as they demolished LadyStrikers by 6-1 on matchday 2.
Striker Mavis Owusu recorded the first hattrick of the competition as she netted in the 16th, 63rd and 81st minute of the game.
Southern Zone based, Police Ladies FC finished 2nd in group A with 6 points, winning two games and one defeat to set up a mouth-watery clash with the reigning Women’s Premier League champions.
The Accra based side begun with a whopping 4-1 victory over Northern Ladies on match day one but lost their 2nd group game to Fabulous Ladies FC by 4-3. They then recorded a 2-1 victory over Pearl Pia Ladies on match day three to secure their semi-final ticket.
Fabulous Ladies FC despite losing their first game to Pearl Pia Ladies still managed to top group A as they defeated Police Ladies FC and Northern Ladies on match day two and three respectively.
Accra based Faith Ladies FC on the other hand sealed their place in the semi-finals with a 6:5 penalty shootouts victory over Dreamz Ladies in their tie breaker game in group B.
Both Dreamz Ladies FC and Faith Ladies FC finished with 3 points after 3 games and had to go for a tie breaker.
The encounter which took place at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium last Tuesday, ended in a goalless draw and had to move to penalties.
Faith Ladies FC finished 2nd in group B to Ampem Darkoa Ladies, helping them to play in their first ever Women’s Premier Super Cup Semi-finals.
