15-Year-Old Bembong scores in Cameroon's Elite One

Born on the 7th of March, 2007, Junior Tresor Bembong became the youngest goalscorer of the MTN Elite One championship this season, with his goal against Stade Renard.

Junior Tresor Bembong thrilled onlookers at the Annex Bepanda stadium on Saturday, with the great feat he managed to achieve.

With the game tied at zero-all, coach David Pagou threw the starlet into the fray, and he netted in borrowed time (90+1) to spark scenes of celebration from the El Pacha fans.

Even more impressive was the fact that, Bembong was making his debut in competitive football, as he had never played in the Elite One, Two or regional championship. He was spotted in a holiday competition in Menoua, and that was his first career goal - which came at such a delicate period.

Coach David Pagou is known for nurturing young talents. Testament to that, was the gaffer's successful tenure with PWD, where he worked with; Eyengue, Nchindo, and Leger Tchoua amongst others.

Junior Tresor Bembong is set to follow the path of great forwards the league has had.

Aigle moves up to 7th in group A with 11 points, one behind Stade Renard who are placed 6th.
