South Africa - DSTV PSL: Big concerns for Kaizer Chiefs

South Africa - DSTV PSL: Big concerns for Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs' offensive inefficiency has Arthur Zwane worried. Despite his team's ideal start with a quick goal on matchday 22, his players did not take advantage of the red received by Richards Bay FC (18th). "We had two or three clear-cut chances, but we didn't take them. Then they got a red card and we immediately took our foot off the gas. We could have capitalized on that," said the Chiefs coach. Zwane even points to the flawed finishing. "This is a game where we could have scored more goals. And that's worrying for me," he lamented.

The Chiefs are coming off their second straight game with only one goal. In the league six clubs have scored as much or more than Kaizer Chiefs, which has scored only 24 goals in 22 games. Fourth in the standings (34 pts), they will need to be more effective to believe in a comeback even as leaders, Sundowns is already far ahead (56 pts).
