Young Africans won away against Rivers United (0-2) in the first leg of the CAF Cup quarterfinals on Sunday, April 23. Fiston Kalala Mayele scored twice to give his team the lead in the first leg. The score was scoreless until after the hour mark. It was in the 73rd minute that the festival of the Congolese striker began. After having opened the score, Mayele did it again 8 minutes later (81).
A precious victory that will allow the leader of the Tanzanian championship to start the second leg in the best way. The Nigerians will have to outdo themselves in order to qualify on Sunday April 30th.
