Cape Verde put in a fine performance in Rabat. The Blue Sharks held Morocco to a draw in a friendly on Monday 12 June. It was a goalless draw between the two teams. Despite dominating the game, Walid Regragui's men were unable to find a way past a well-organised Cape Verde side. This was the Atlas Lions' second consecutive goalless draw. They had drawn with Peru (0-0).
The Moroccans, who have already qualified for the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations, face South Africa on Saturday 17 June in the 5th round of qualifiers.
