Horoya AC fell away in Ghana, losing to Medeama SC 1-3. Nana Kofi Babil (48th), Nurudeen Abdulai (65th) and Asmah (69th) scored for the hosts. Mohamed Lamine Fofana (89th) reduced the deficit for the Guineans.

Arte Solar take on Zamalek
Arte Solar created a sensation in the 2nd round of the CAF Cup. The Djiboutian club beat Zamalek 2-0. Gabriel and Douah scored for Arte Solar. Stade Malien secured a fine 2-0 victory over Aigle Noir. The biggest score went to Libya's Abu Salim, 3-0 winners over Kampala City. Finally, CR Belouizdad returned from their trip to Bo Rangers Fc with a valuable 3-1 win.
