The atmosphere is electric, with Cameroonian flags and giant posters of Ngannou adorning the walls. Marie Ngo, a 22-year-old student, is looking forward to Saturday and the "Predator" victory.
"Francis is a real hero for us, and we know he's going to give it his all in the ring," she says, convinced. This is a historic moment for Cameroon, and we're proud to support him." Tomorrow, a caravan of fans is scheduled to take to the streets of Yaoundé to celebrate the event. Shopkeeper Hervé Tafone enthuses: "It's incredible to see how passionate people are about this fight. The polo shirts and caps are selling so well that we're having a bit of trouble keeping up with demand."
Optimism also reigns among the fans, who believe in Ngannou's victory over his opponent.Adéline Ekoumba, a 35-year-old fan, doesn't see an outcome other than Ngannou's success. "Francis Ngannou has incredible strength, and he's a role model for Cameroon's youth. I'm sure he'll beat Fury.
