Sad news from the Albanian championship. Raphael Dwamena lost his life as his KF Egnatia team took on KF Partizani Tiranë. Just as the ball was about to be put back into play, the Ghanaian striker suddenly collapsed on the edge of his team's penalty area. Teammates and opponents, as well as doctors and the rescue team on site, rushed to his aid. In vain, he was pronounced dead a few moments later despite attempts at resuscitation. The Ghanaian was 28 years old. In view of this news, all the league matches scheduled for this weekend have been cancelled and postponed to a later date.
