Bryan Mbeumo's injury is worrying both Brentford and Cameroon. The Indomitable Lion's absence is already being felt by the Bees. And in his homeland, fingers are being crossed ahead of the African Cup of Nations (January 13-February 11).

Unfortunately, Mbeumo was struck down by injury just as he had taken off to make his mark.
And Brentford is beginning to feel the Cameroonian's absence. Race against the clock for the AFCON
Announced as absent for "a few weeks", Mbeumo nevertheless hopes to represent Cameroon at the next AFCON which kicks off on January 13 and runs until February 11. Cameroon kick off their campaign against Guinea on January 15, then take on Senegal four days later. Before their final Group C match against Gambia on January 23. Coach Rigobert Son and his staff are no doubt keeping their fingers crossed that Mbeumo will be back in the squad for the continental showdown.
