Not reappointed by the Cameroon Football Federation, Rigobert Song is no longer coach of the Indomitable Lions. After 2 years at the head of the selection, he expressed himself in a message for the fans on his social networks.
"Dear Sisters and Brothers, Dear Supporters of the Indomitable Lions,
It has been a great honor for me to coach our national flagship soccer team, the Indomitable Lions, for two years. At every moment of this exhilarating and delicate mission, like a soldier of the nation, I have devoted myself, as always when it comes to defending the colors of Cameroon, to achieving the objectives assigned. I would like to thank the Head of State and the entire Government for their confidence, guidance and support. I thank the players and all the members of staff who have agreed to accompany me in this project," declared Rigobert Song.
