Louis François Mendy wins Senegal's first gold medal in the athletics event at the All-Africa Games in Accra. The Senegalese sprinter won the 110 m hurdles with a time of 13s61. He beat Algeria's Amine Bouanani (13s69) and Egypt's Y. Badawy Sayed (13s83).
