AFCON 2025: Angola makes public list of 28

AFCON 2023 quarter-finalist Angola will seek to do better at AFCON 2025. The coach of the Palancas Negras, Patrice Beaumelle, has chosen 28 players for this mission on Moroccan soil. 

For AFCON 2025, Patrice Beaumelle called upon the essential of the executives. Clinton Mata (Olympique Lyonnais), Mabululu (Al-Ahli Tripoli), Mbala Nzola (Pisa)... are present. The French technician discarded Bastos (Botafogo), Gilberto (Petro de Luanda), Capita (Radomiak), Depu (Radomiak), Batxi (Krasnodar) and Andrade (Porto). 

The Angolan selection is housed in group B with Egypt, South Africa and Zimbabwe. The team will play its first match at CAN 2025 against the Bafana Bafana, on December 22, 2025 at 17h GMT at the Marrakech stadium.
