AFCON 2025: Cameroon hit by injuries

The new coach of Cameroon, David Pagou, must already make adjustments in his initial list revealed for AFCON 2025 (December 21, 2025 – January 18, 2026, in Morocco). Vålerenga Fotball Elite’s midfielder, Brice Ambina and Al-Duhail’s central defender, Jean-Charles Castelletto are out due to injuries. They are replaced respectively by Arnold Mael Kamdem (Sinop Sport Clube) and Che Malone Fondoh (USM Alger). An information that was formalized by the Press Officer of the Indomptables Lions, Thierry Ndoh, this Monday.

The Cameroonian selection will evolve in the AFCON 2025 group F with Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon and Mozambique. The Indomptables Lions play their first meeting against the Gabonese neighbors on December 24, 2025 at 20:00 GMT, in Agadir.
