AFCON 2025: David Pagou visualises Cameroon vs Ivory Coast

After their opening victory (1-0) over Gabon in Agadir, Cameroon plays big in the next match. The Indomitable Lions will challenge Ivory Coast on the second day in group F in Marrakech (20h GMT). For this duel, David Pagou, the Cameroonian coach, wants the same mindset as against the Panthers. 

“The next opponent is Ivory Coast. I don’t even need to motivate my guys. It’s a natural motivation to play the reigning champion. You know the history between Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon. Of course, it will be with a conquering mindset that the guys will approach this meeting. The state of mind was key to our victory against Gabon,"

 he said at a press conference.
