AFCON 2025: How will Mali approach Morocco?

Tom Saintfiet already has a clear idea of what Mali will do against Morocco this Friday (20h GMT) on the occasion of the second day of AFCON 2025. Faced with a very playful and formidable offensive team, the Eagles do not intend to deny their identity to pack the bus.

“If we’re going to pack the bus facing Morocco? I only played against Morocco once in 2019. We won 1-0 by dropping the bus and with 21% possession. So I want to continue my 100% against Morocco. But in Mali, I don’t have a bus. I want to play a 100% offensive football because we have good players",
