AFCON 2025 - Morocco: Achraf Hakimi available against Mali?

In a press conference on Thursday, Walid Regragui mentioned the possibility of seeing Achraf Hakimi play his first minutes at AFCON 2025 against the Aigles du Mali on Friday (20h GMT) during the second day of the competition.

« Achraf continues his recovery process, which is good, he comes back very well. We prepare Achraf with the same reading as what we have already said. Will he play tomorrow? We will make the right decisions. We want to have Achraf for the entire tournament, not just one match. His process is taking its course,”
