AFCON 2025 - Tunisia: Naïm Sliti remains uncertain

One of the pillars of Tunisia, Naïm Sliti could miss the AFCON 2025. Injured with Al-Shamal SC and forfeited for the Arab Cup, the 33-year-old left winger is not certain to participate in the next African Cup of Nations (December 21 - January 18, 2026 in Morocco). If his absence is confirmed, he should be replaced by SayfAllah Ltaief, according to information from Radio Mosaique FM. For the moment, the technical staff of the Carthage Eagles are waiting for the player’s medical report before making a final decision.
Tunisia is present in group C with Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda. The Tunisian team will make its first outing against the Ugandans on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 20:00 GMT, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat.
