AFCON 2025: "What happened is abnormal," Pape Thiaw’s big rant before the final

In a pre-match press conference this Saturday, Pape Thiaw, Senegal coach, deplored the insecurity around the Lions of Teranga upon their arrival at their hotel on Friday in Rabat on the sidelines of the final against Morocco, Sunday evening (19h GMT).

"What happened yesterday is abnormal, regretted the Senegalese technician. A team like Senegal cannot go down and find themselves in the middle of the crowd, like that. The players were in danger. Anything could happen, in the face of ill-intentioned people.''
