AFCON 2025: Wilfred Ndidi suspended against Morocco

Qualified with brilliance in the semi-finals having won all their matches, Nigeria will now challenge Morocco this Wednesday, January 14 in Rabat. But the Super Eagles will have to compose without their captain Wilfred Ndidi. For having received a yellow card in the 67th minute of the quarter-final against Algeria, the midfielder will purge an automatic suspension match for accumulation of cards. He had already received another yellow card for an elbow strike in a duel in the last 16 against Mozambique. An absence that will force coach Eric Chelle to review his plans.
