BAL 2026: ASC City of Dakar eliminated in quarters

The adventure of ASC Ville de Dakar at the 2026 Basketball Africa League ended this Sunday in Kigali. The Senegalese club was eliminated in the quarter-final return of the Final 8 after their defeat against Al Ahly (87-76).

Winners of the first leg last Friday (93-90), the Dakar entered this second set with a three-point lead. But the Egyptians managed to turn the situation around to validate their qualification for the semi-finals.

For its first participation in the BAL playoffs, ASC Ville de Dakar nevertheless leaves the competition after an encouraging journey on the continental scene.
