Cédric Moubamba: "Cameroon has not shown much"

For their first outing in group F of the 2025 AFCON, Gabon lost against Cameroon in Agadir on Wednesday. In this meeting, the Panthers were dominant without however finding the goal. Assistant Coach, Cédric Moubamba was clear: he was not impressed by the Indomitable Lions.

“In today’s match, Cameroon didn’t show much. We got possession. We made the play. But, Cameroon has created many more opportunities than us," 

he said.

Although Moubamba was not seduced by the Cameroonian team, he bets on it: 

"Cameroon remains Cameroon and they can rise in the competition,"

 he concluded.

At the next exit, Gabon will face Mozambique on Sunday, December 28 at 12:30 GMT, at the stadium in Agadir.
