Côte d'Ivoire: Emerse Faé has the trust of Idriss Diallo and the Federation

 Several voices have been raised for the dismissal of Emerse Faé. The latter has the full trust of his federation. Idriss Diallo, the president of the FIF, has decided the debate: the coach of the Elephants will not move. 

“We have to be serious. I want the Ivorians to respect themselves and their country. You have a coach who was appointed to the competition in the context you know with a staff that we have set up. This coach won the AFCON. In the process, he qualifies our country for the World Cup. Competition that we haven’t been able to attend since 2014 in Brazil. We arrive at the AFCON, he arrives in the quarter-finals which is the 6th African that we are. I do not give in under pressure. I work for my country seriously. Faé has our trust. Faé will have to work to improve the weaknesses he has like any human being. I hope he will work there. We will go to the Mondial with Faé. This debate must be put aside,"

 he declared during an interview with the Ivorian News Channel.
