Egypt will face Russia and Brazil before the 2026 World Cup

The Egyptian Football Federation (EFA) closes its friendly matches, serving as a preparation for the 2026 World Cup. On May 28, the Pharaohs will face Russia. The announcement was made by the EFA on its social accounts this Tuesday. 

On 6 June, the Pharaohs will play a last friendly match against Brazil. The Egyptian national team will head to the USA on 30 May, two days after their match against Russia. 

Egypt is in group G of the 2026 World Cup with Belgium, Iran and New Zealand.
