- Text
Free of any engagement since his departure from Montpellier last summer, Wahbi Khazri has long been announced at SC Bastia for a return. But no! The former Tunisian international decided to stop football.
On the set of 'Late Football Club' on Canal+, the 34-year-old player dropped the information."It’s time for me to announce the end of my career, this passion that has given me so much and to whom I have given so much,"
said the now ex-attacking midfielder. I have a lot of emotion, it’s a passion that has given me so much and without which I could never have been the man I am," he said.
In his rich career, the native of Ajaccio has played for 6 clubs: SC Bastia (2009-2014), Bordeaux (2014-2016), Sunderland (2016-2018), Stade Rennais (2017-2018), Saint-Etienne (2018-2022), Montpellier (2022-2025).- Live
