Liverpool: Mohamed Salah denounces a betrayal and questions his future

On the bench for the third time in a row on Saturday during Liverpool’s (3-3) draw against Leeds United, Mohamed Salah could not contain his frustration. From his relationship with Arne Slot to his future with the Reds, including the club’s unfulfilled promises , the Egyptian winger completely breaks in frustration.

“I’ve done so much for this club over the years, and especially last season. Now I’m on the bench and don’t know why. I feel like the club betrayed me. That’s how I feel. It is clear that someone wanted to put all the responsibility on me," 

said Mo Salah at Viaplay Football, as reported by Sky Sports.

Then he adds: 

"I was made a lot of promises this summer and for now, I have been on the bench for three games, so I cannot say that they have kept their promises. I said several times that I had a good relationship with the coach and all of a sudden, we no longer have any relationship. I don’t know why, but it seems to me that someone doesn’t want me at the club.”
