Tanzania: Miguel Gamondi will extend as coach

Arrived in November just before the AFCON Miguel Gamondi had managed a convincing competition with an elimination in the last 16 against Morocco (1-0).

After a period of reflection, the government, through the Ministry of Sports, proposed a new contract to the Argentine coach who will officially sign it this Monday.

A welcome continuity for Taifa Stars having known eight different selectors since 2019. As for Gamondi, he successfully continues his Tanzanian tour after the championship title obtained with Young Africans in 2024 and the CECACA Club Champions won with Singida Black Stars last year.
