The 2026 Women’s AFCON officially postponed

As we informed you, the 2026 Women’s AFCON will no longer be contested on its initial date (March 17 - April 3, 2026) in Morocco. This Thursday, CAF formalized the postponement of the competition and unveiled the new reprogramming. This tournament will be held from July 25 to August 16, 2026. The host country is not yet known.

“After discussions between CAF and its partners, FIFA and other stakeholders, CAF has decided to reschedule the dates of AFCON 2026 from 25 July to 16 August 2026 in order to ensure the success of this important women’s competition, given certain unforeseen circumstances. » ,
