Women’s Handball World Championship: End of the journey for Angola and Senegal

There will be no African team in the direct elimination phase of the Women’s Handball World Championship. Still in contention respectively in groups 1 and 4, Senegal and Angola have seen their progress stop. While they still had a hope of qualification, the Palancas Negras beat Sweden (26-24) for their last outing. Insufficient victory finally for the Angolans who fail in 3rd place in group 4.
