On Saturday, October 1, Stella Club took over after their 2-0 win.
On Sunday, October 2, ASEC Mimosas regained the leadership position despite its draw against FC San Pedro (0-0).
ASEC, which will face Horoya AC (Guinea) in the Champions League on the 9th, had however succeeded in its entry into the Ligue 1, six days ago. The defending champion had, in fact, beaten Entente Sportive du Bafing by 3 goals to 0 on September 25, in a late match of the first day.
