Athletics - 2020 Paralympic Games: Three Ivorians committed to Tokyo mission

After the Olympic Games (23 July-8 August 2021), it is now the Paralympic Games that take over and it's still in Tokyo, Japan. Côte d'Ivoire is getting ready to take part with three athletes who will be competing.

They are Ano Adou, Lago Clarisse and Ye Kah Michel. After a thorough preparation at the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) in Abidjan, they are confident and optimistic to make an honorable participation.

Adou Hervé will compete in powerlifting in the under 65kg category. He will compete on Friday 27 August at the Tokyo International Forum. Lago Sébèhé Clarisse will showcase her talents in the shot put, category F40. While Ye Kah Michel, category F41 will try to win a medal in shot put and javelin.

Both events will take place at the Tokyo International Stadium on Monday 30 August and Saturday 4 September 2021 respectively.
