The 2021 African Cup of Nations is getting out of hand. In group C, the Comoros made a sensation by beating Ghana 3-2. This was their first win in the competition in their third outing.
The Comoros led 2-0 after goals from El Fardu and Mogni. But Ghana came back with goals from Boakye and Djiku. The Ghanaians showed character as they were down two goals to nil and were also playing with ten men after Andre Ayew was sent off in the 25th minute. Mogni scored twice in the 85th minute to seal the win for the Comoros. With this defeat, Ghana is eliminated from the AFCON 2021 with a single point. A thunderous blow.
