Samuel Eto'o is already cracking down on the Indomitable Lions, just a few days before the start of the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon. The new president of the Cameroon Football Federation has suspended Makota Ferdinand Lucien Emmanuel. The latter was the assistant coordinator of the Cameroon national team. "It has come to our notice with regret that during the preparatory training of the men's national team of Cameroon A for its participation in the African Cup of Nations, you have engaged in activities contrary to morality (...). I hereby inform you that as from today and until further notice, you are suspended from your duties as assistant coordinator" reads the letter addressed to Makota Ferdinand Lucien Emmanuel.
