AFCON 2023: Algeria plans to prepare in Togo

Algeria, who will face Burkina Faso, Mauritania and Angola in the first round of the AFCON in Côte d'Ivoire (January 13 to February 11, 2024), will finalize their preparation program in the coming days. Djamel Belmadi, the Fennecs' coach, would like his team to prepare in a country not too far from Côte d'Ivoire geographically, and with a comparable climate. Togo, for example, could host the 2019 African champions. The North Africans would also like to play two friendly matches during their training camp.
