AFCON U23: DR Congo narrowly avoids a plane crash

The DR Congo U23 national team came close to the worst. While traveling to Algeria on Friday night to play the second leg of the second round of the AFCON U23 qualifiers against the Fennecs, the U23 Leopards narrowly escaped a plane crash. According to several reports, the pilot lost control of the dashboard. The plane had to turn around and land at the airport of Ndjili.

As a reminder, the U23 Leopards had won easily in the first leg (4-1) against the Fennecs.
