Algeria: foreign players and coaches banned from League 2

There will be no foreign players or coaches in the Algerian Ligue 2 for the 2021-2022 season. The National Amateur Football League (LNFA) has confirmed the decision ahead of the league's scheduled kick-off on 26 October. "Foreign players and coaches are not allowed to play in the League 2 championship. These are the regulations for the 2021-2022 season," the LNFA wrote on its website.

This measure puts some clubs like MO Constantine and CR Témouchent in an uncomfortable situation. These two teams have just recruited Tunisian coaches. Mahrez Ben Ali was to lead the "Mocistes". While Adel El-Atreche was in charge of the technical bench of CRT.
