African players are making their mark in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. The continent has three of its sons in the top 10 of the league's scoring charts. Nigerian Paul Onuachu, Comorian Faiz Selemani and Senegalese Makhtar Gueye are all scoring in the Belgian league.
Paul Onuachu is in 6th place in the top 10. With 10 goals, the Super Eagle remains as efficient as ever, having finished as the top scorer in the Pro League last season. The Genk striker competed with Michaël Frey during the first part of the season before being left on the bench. He has had injuries and illnesses that have kept him away from the pitch.
In 7th place in the top 10 is Makhtar Gueye. He also has 10 goals for Oostende. The Senegalese striker has bailed his club out on several occasions and is now in the short list. Comorian Faïz Selemani closes the ranking with 7 goals. The Kortrijk player was on fire with his club at the beginning of the season before drowning at the end of the first half.
