Coach of the home-based Black Stars, Ibrahim Tanko has named a 20-man squad for the international friendly match against Uzbekistan on Thursday, March 25, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
This game is to access the fitness and readiness of the team as they prepare for the 2021 WAFU Cup of Nations in Nigeria and the upcoming CHAN qualifiers.
The team will depart Accra on Monday, March 22, play the game on Thursday, March 24 and return on Friday, March 26, 2021.
The squad is largely dominated by players called by the head of coach of the senior team, CK Akonnor with few additions.
Three U20 AFCON winners namely; Samuel Ashie Quaye, Percious Boah, and Afriyie Barnieh have made it into the squad.
Accra Hearts of Oak's number one goalkeeper, Richard Atta has also been called up.
