Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies win the COSAFA zone tournament and qualify for the African Women's Champions League.
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies will represent Southern Africa in the upcoming African Women's Champions League. The South Africans won the COSAFA zone final on Sunday 5 September. They beat Black Rhinos Queens of Zimbabwe 3-0 in the final.
The women from Downs have been flying high in the competition. The South African champions have recorded five wins in as many outings with 22 goals scored.
They are aiming to make history and win the first edition of this continental event. The African Women's Champions League will bring together eight clubs from across the continent and will be held in Cairo in December.
