Horoya AC's administration has been negotiating for the past few days to host their return match against Stade Malien in Conakry instead of Thies (Senegal), as previously decided by CAF.
In an email sent on Wednesday to the management of Horoya AC, CAF now authorizes the club from Matam to play at the Nongo stadium. This match will be played on October 24, at 4 pm (GMT).
This will be the first international match in Guinea since the military coup of September 5. The matches of the Syli in qualification for the World Cup 2022 have indeed been relocated to Morocco. And the clubs involved in CAF interclub competitions have only played on their opponent's ground.
