The draw for the preliminary round of the continent's interclub competitions (Champions League and Confederation Cup) for the 2021-2022 season will be held on Friday 13 August in Cairo, Egypt. This will be from 12:00 GMT.
As for the preliminary round of the tournaments, the matches will start on 10 September. However, the group stage will kick off in February 2022. That is, just after the African Cup of Nations scheduled to be held in Cameroon in January 2022.
