The team that will finish on the last step of the podium of the Women's Champions League will be known this Thursday evening. It will be the Moroccan AS FAR Rabat or the Equatorial Guinean Malabo Kings. The two clubs are battling for third place at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo.
The two opponents have a similar history in the competition. In the group stage, the Moroccans beat Rivers Angels (3-0), lost to Vihiga Queens (2-0) and shared the points with Mamelodi Sundowns (0-0). And in the semi-finals, they lost to Ghana's Hasaacas (2-1).
The Equatoguineans were eliminated by Mamelodi on penalties (0-0, tab 5-4). But in the group stage, they had lost to Hasaacas (1-3), dominated Wadi Degla (3-0) and drew against AS Mandé (1-1).
