After the Algerian Ahmed Kendouci (Al Ahly) and the Malagasy Koloina (MC Alger), another CHAN 2022 semi-finalist has found a buyer in the middle of the competition. It is the Senegalese central defender Ousmane Diouf. The Rock of Teungueth FC (L1 Senegal) has signed for four years with the Sudanese club Al Hilal. Diouf played in all four of Senegal's games at this CHAN.
He opened the scoring in the victory of the local Lions against DR Congo (3-0). In the Sudanese club, he will be coached by the Congolese Florent Ibenge and will be reunited with a former acquaintance of the Senegalese League 1, the Gambian Lamine Jarju.
