CHAN 2022 - Preps: Draw between Ivory Coast and Cameroon

Second test match and still no defeat for Ivory Coast in preparation for CHAN 2022. The local Elephants faced the Indomitable Lions on Saturday January 7, 2023 in Sousse, Tunisia and the game ended 1-1. The Cameroonian goal was scored by Valentin Beo Bato on penalty (65th).

The Ivorians chased the score all game before crafting an equalizer at the end. On a free kick by Gbaï Moïse, the Cameroonian goalkeeper involuntarily accompanied the ball in his goal (90+3).

In this match, the Ivorian coach, Haïdara Souhalio, lined up at least four new players compared to the match won against Libya (1-0) on January 3, 2023.
