Copa America: Brazil off to a great start as defending champions

The Brazilian team started their defense of the Copa America title at home but without the crowd. They beat Venezuela 3-0 in the opening match of the Copa America on Sunday evening. It was PSG's captain Marquinhos who opened the score (23rd). He will be imitated by his teammate in club, Neymar Jr (64th).

The playmaker also provided the decisive assist for Gabriel Barbosa's third goal (89th). It should be noted, however, that Venezuela played this match without several of its key players because 11 of them tested positive for coronavirus.
