Tanzania has won the 2021 Women's COSAFA Cup. In the final, the Tanzanians won 1-0 against Malawi. Enekia Lunyamila scored the only goal of the match. The latter took advantage of a ball released by the Malawian goalkeeper to score the winning goal in the 64th minute.
The Tanzanians thus won a tournament in which they were only invited. Tanzania's victory was a double reward. Their captain Amina Bilali was voted best player of the COSAFA Cup.
In the third place match, Zambia dominated South Africa (0-0, 4-3). For the first time in 9 editions, the Banyana Banyana who have 7 trophies in the competition finish outside the podium.
